Telephone Advice

If you require telephone advice the receptionist will take your details and a contact number and you will be phoned back by a member of the practice team.  This is available between 08.30-11.00 and 14.00-16.00.

Please ensure you can be contacted at the number you have provided as there are many requests for advice and we cannot ring repeatedly to numbers which are engaged, on voicemail, answering machine or not taking incoming calls.

At other times the medical staff may be busy and interruptions during surgery are upsetting for both doctor and patient. For this reason staff have been asked not to disturb consultations with non-urgent telephone calls.

Each doctor has a personal secretary who will deal with specific enquires from patients and liase with their doctor and arrange appropriate action and keep you informed.

The receptionist may request some information when you telephone as it may be necessary to obtain your medical records for the doctor.
